June 11, 2025 METAIRIE – We’re proud that all 3 bills we supported this year are now law. Thank you for helping to demonstrate public support for them! A bill author thanked the president of Free Louisiana for your support. This year’s session was a short session mostly for the budget, but next year will be the important biannual long session.

Most activists are focused on federal politics, so in state politics a few phone calls at the right time to the right people can make a difference.
How these new laws make Louisiana more independent & sovereign:
HB 64 helps state AG intervene in federal courts on Louisiana municipal cases. HB 120 makes state guard benefits comparable to national guard benefits. HB 695 is so we can have a tax-free debit card backed by gold, spendable as dollars, if courts agree.
We will work on writing a bill that would give Louisianans a chance to vote on whether Louisiana should become a self-governing independent state. Who better to govern Louisiana: Louisianans or federal judges?
